We stayed at Il Poggiolo Delle Rose for a few days during our trip to Florence. The location was perfect, just a short drive away from the city and the beautiful Chianti route. The owners, Mrs. Fabrizia and her husband, were incredibly hospitable and provided us with helpful recommendations for our exploration of Tuscany. The interior yard and modern design of the rooms were impressive, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had a blast exploring the nearby wineries and going on epic wine tours. The 40-inch LED TVs in our rooms were lit and kept us entertained with satellite programming. Plus, the fact that all of us, including our squad, needed to show our IDs at check-in made us feel super VIP. Best vacay ever!
The only thing we would've loved more is if there were some cool party events or nightlife activities for us young folks. Don't get us wrong, the place was amazing, but a little more fun for us party animals would've made it even better.

The room was very nice and comfortable and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The locations was perfect, just 15 minutes into town on the bus, which is a lot better than driving into the city where it's really difficult to find parking.

We stayed here during Easter and the Easter egg hunt was so much fun for the kids. The breakfast was nice and filling with a good variety, and the rooms looked modern and clean. The location was just a short walk to the bus stop which made it easy to get around the area. Plus, it was great that we were able to park our car safely here.
That the walls were thin so we could hear everything our neighbors were doing. This made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

Rooms are spacious and clean with well-equipped kitchens and lovely green yards. The warm and hospitable staff provides valuable tips for sightseeing, and breakfast is a delicious spread of pastries, yogurt, and fresh juice. Plus, the nearby supermarket and restaurants make it perfect for a self-catering holiday.
Limited parking space may be an issue during peak season.

Interesting location close to the A1, but luckily there was no noise in the rooms. Beautifully restored buildings, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Next time I am visiting Florence, I will definitely stay here, take the bus and forget about the traffic in the city.

We stayed three nights. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere created by the family who runs the b&B. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was rich in sweet, home made pastries. We were served excellent coffee. The internet was very good and only 5 Euro for the entire stay. We reached Florence in 15 min by public transport, bus 37 that stopped in front of the house, which was both economic and fast. At the host's suggestion we took one morning bus 12 to Piazzale Michelangelo, which is at the top of a hill overlooking Florence. There we had an expresso on the terrace of a coffee bar and enjoyed the spectacular and unforgettable view of Florence, before descending to river Arne and walking into the centre. We made good use of the reduced entrance fee (Euro 10 and no queues) at 16:00 to visit the Uffizi painting gallery until 18:00. We had an excellent lunch beforehand at a nearby taverna in a narrow street.
I missed the variety of ham and cheese with the breakfast. Eggs were charged at 1 Euro each. The noise of the motorway nearby was ignorable with the windows closed. A noise absorbant fence is being built in the vicinity and afterwards it should really be no noise even with the windows open.

Owners speak excellent English, are friendly and exceptionally helpful and know the surrounding area well. We enjoyed our stay here so much we booked an extra night. The location is ideal to get a bus into Florence or drive around the local countryside. Staying here was one of the highlights of our honeymoon.
